Dylan O’Brien’s vacation from Beacon Hills has been anything but restful. The “Teen Wolf” star (who plays Stiles on the MTV series) has been hard at work filming the upcoming dystopian drama “The Maze Runner.”

Based on the young-adult novel by James Dashner, “The Maze Runner” centers around teen Thomas (O’Brien), who awakens in a rusty elevator with no memory of who he is. What he does come to find out is that he’s been delivered to the middle of an intricate maze, along with a slew of other boys, who have been trying to find their way out of the ever-changing labyrinth — all the while establishing a functioning society within the enclosure they’ve come to call “The Glade.”

With production on “The Maze Runner” still in full swing, MTV News was lucky enough to get its hands on five exclusive first-look stills from the film, featuring O’Brien and his young co-stars, including Kaya Scodelario and Aml Ameen. From an image of a visibly injured Thomas, to a gang of boys running to the supposed safety of the sky-scraping structure, the tenor of these images is clear: danger lurks around every corner.

Eager for more scoop on “The Maze Runner”? The cast (including O’Brien and Scodelario), along with director Wes Ball and author Dashner, will be hosting a Twitter chat on Monday, July 8 to answer fan questions. Submit your queries using #MazeRunnerChat and be sure to follow @MazeRunnerMovie on Twitter.

“The Maze Runner,” also starring Patricia Clarkson, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Will Poulter, hits theaters February 14, 2014.

To say The First Time is one of the year’s most enjoyable, charming and heart-humping films is something of an understatement since, the truth is, I loved this movie so hard it borders on inappropriate.
VIDEO – First Look at Teen Wolf Season Three

Starring Teen Wolf’s Dylan O’Brien and The Secret Circle alum Britt Robertson, the film is in many ways akin to a stage play with their characters, Dave and Aubrey, meeting cute, and spending the remainder of the weekend talking their way into one another’s hearts.

The dialogue rings so true there are moments where you wonder if writer/director Jon Kasdan has been sneaking peeks at your high school diary and cribbing the best lines. But words are just that until an actor performs them and the electricity that infuses every word and every shared scene is nothing short of remarkable. If their respective small screen work hadn’t already revealed this to you, Dylan and Britt will be massive stars and The First Time is a sensational showcase for both.

ETonline is proud to present an exclusive clip from The First Time, hitting DVD on March 12!

TEEN WOLF The MTV series is shooting season 3 in Los Angeles and I stopped by the set this week to chat up fan favorite Dylan O’Brien, who was definitely not slacking off during his hiatus. Instead, he was working on a big screen comedy with some very big box office names.

In The Internship, “Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughan are guys in their 40s, middle-aged salesmen, who lose their jobs, the company goes under, and they have to reinvent themselves in the new world of technology,” he told me. “They sign up to be interns at Google…and it’s a disaster because they’re a part of intern week and the interns are grouped into teams and compete against each other and the winning team gets jobs at Google.”

But like Stiles on Teen Wolf, O’Brien’s character isn’t one of the cool kids: “We’re kind of the ‘Bad News Bears’ who get slumped together,” he said with a smile. “Our team sucks and we have Owen and Vince, who don’t know anything. Then the rest of us are just the outcasts. There’s a reason why we’re not in any other group.”
The Internship also features familiar TV faces like Rose Byrne (Damages) and Jessica Szohr (Gossip Girl) and is set to hit screens on June 7. (More Teen Wolf chats coming closer to the premiere later this year)
